About The Project
The Madagascar Green Community Project has been delivering powerful results since we began our work in 2007. Our goal is to provide sustainable assistance to impoverished communities in Madagascar.
The following video was made in Madagascar for the Green Community Project:
This video concerns our work in 2011:
Rachelle Rasolofo Czerwinski was born in Madagascar and was educated in Madagascar, France and Canada. Rachelle is fluent in French, English, Malagasy, and to some extent Italian and German. She also understands some Russian, Italian, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese and Arabic.
She has been the driving force behind numerous charitable organizations. Rachelle is passionately involved with the Madagascar Green Community Project and has watched it grow from a small grassroots organization to an organization that facilitates numerous endeavors to assist Malagasy people to become economically self reliant while at the same time respecting the environment. She cares about environmental as well as social justice.
Rachelle does not do this alone. She has a team of dedicated people, most of whom are volunteers, to assist with this important work. The project relies entirely upon donations.
Rachelle’s Personal Motto: Take care of the Earth, there is no Planet B; take care of yourself, there is no other YOU either.
